Sam & I made it into nursery today, having walked the last mile! Although the site itself is safe, the surrounding roads remained slippery when we left. We will be opening tomorrow, please consider the conditions of the roads before travelling.

Our Mission

At Hopscotch Montessori Nursery we follow the Montessori Philosophy which emphasises the individuality of each child. We believe that children learn best in their own way at their own pace. The driving concept is the  nurturing of the childs natural joy of learning . They will of course be closely observed and guided by the Directress.

Our main aim is to provide a happy, stimulating child orientated environment in which the children can explore and learn freely. The classroom is specifically prepared for the children. Everything is child sized and safe for the children to use.

Hopscotch Montessori Nursery is OFSTED registered and run by a dually qualified Montessori Teacher and Paediatric Nurse. There are Early Years Free Entitlement funded places available for 3 & 4 year olds.

Hopscotch Montessori Nursery provides sessional day care for children aged 2 to 5 years. The sessions are Monday, Tuesday & Friday 09.00 to 12.15. Wednesday & Thursday 0900 to 12:15 & 12:15 to 1445 during term times.

Hopscotch is based at The Gospel Hall, Beadles Lane, Old Oxted, Surrey, RH8 9JJ.
